The RIFT Create a Colossus Contest

As we walked through the mountains, the sky above our heads became red and fiery, the air smelled dry and full of ashes. In the distance we saw a rift ripping up the dark clouds. Fire began to rain down the rocks around us and a light, brighter than an eruption of a giant vulcano set the clouds on fire and burnt our lungs with boiling air.
A horrible roar let the mountains tremble in fear.
We looked at each other.
We knew we are finished.

Tir'Karathes - the Hellbane (a Fire Colossus)


Hell yeah, I'm finished, too! 8D
I have to say, I'm really proud of this one ^^
I never made a picture without outlines.
I'm still very bad at colouring with photoshop, but well...I'm trying hard to improve ;)
This is a creature for the RIFT colossus contest.
It looks very static, but so you can see the creature better than when it's in motion.
Its fire-breath can take out whole armies at once. The core in its chest can produce minions, fierce nasty beasts of skeletons without a skull, lava and fire.
And yeah, it CAN move, not that fast, but it can 8D
Even with only 2 legs XD.

Oh well, this became quite old now, but I still like how some effects of this picture came out and it was my very first bigger PS-drawing xD
Still one of my best, I think, I didn't really get better with digitals x'D

ich hätte da auch gerne teilgenommen, aber ich blöde hab mal wieder zu spät bemerkt, das son wettbewerb am laufen war......

naja ^^

ich mag diesen feuerkoloss! ders toll geworden! mich fasziniert der kopf. keine ahung wieso aber ich find den am besten am ganzen bild xD

Naja, sei froh dassd net mitgemacht hast, war ziemliche Zeitverschwendung.
Haben eh nur die gewonnen, die sowieso die geilsten Hintergründe gezeichnet haben und perfekte Technik etc.

Joa, aber vieles vom Vieh an sich ziemlich ähnlich...
Und es gab auch andere Kriterien als nur Skill.

man wieso bekomm ich von so wettbewerben kaum was mit Q__Q

damals gab es auch nen WB zu meinem lieblingsgame....aber ich hab mich damals noch garnicht hier auf DA angemeldet...und ein gescheites photoshop hatte ich damals auch nicht xD

Tja, auf DA bekommst da ziemlich auffällige Werbung an den Kopf geschmissen ;)

nun es geht mir nicht darum zu gewinnen. viel mehr möchte ich da mal aus reinem vergnügen teilnehmen ^^ natürlich freut man sich dann wenn man unter den semi finalisten kommt xDD aber man muss auch mit spaß an die sache rangehen ^^


njoa ich zeichne erstmal für mich(und für andere noch welche. die warten immernoch auf ihre bilder xDDD ich lahmer drache......) und igendwann wenn ich mir ganz sicher bin dann mach ich an einem wetti mit ^^
